The Far Eastern University Diliman’s Central Student Organization spearheaded a campaign to celebrate the fight for life, choosing to partner with Kythe Foundation and donate the proceeds of its Adopt-a-Parol program. For PHP200 each, members of the FEU community could “adopt” a Christmas lantern from the campaign, the funds to be turned over to the Child Life Program.
Adopt-a-Parol was formally launched at a Holiday Lighting Ceremony last November 27, 2015 at the Nicanor Reyes Jr. Hall, with several of the Kythe kids in attendance. Students had promoted the campaign through social media channels with the hashtag #TamarawsForLife.
The campaign encouraged the spirit of volunteerism among the students by showcasing the advocacy of Child Life, giving opportunities to share resources, beginning meaningful relationships with beneficiaries and partners.
Kythe congratulates the Central Student Organization and all the advocates of FEU for the success of the campaign. We are honored to join the Tamaraws in their fight for life!
