FEU Diliman opens the school year 2017-2018 with a new enrollment system, the Education Enterprise Resource Planning (edERP), to make the admissions and enrollment processes easier for students.
Academic Services Director Ms. Grace Ramoy said: “We passed the enrollment Go Live [pertaining to edERP’s implementation] with flying colors. Everyone [including FEU systems’ edERP team] was impressed on the turn out of the edERP implementation in FEU Diliman.”
The said system is currently implemented in FEU Manila and in FEU Makati before it was implemented in FEU Diliman. This made it easy for FEU Diliman to foresee concerns that may arise during the enrollment process and lessen the issues that were encountered during the enrollment period.
On the lighter side, FEU Diliman edERP team offered some gimmicks during the enrollment this year like free ice cream on the first day, taho on the second day, and free fried snacks on the third day. This made the enrollment period as something to look forward to every trimester.
Even though some students had different opinions regarding the system, a good number had experienced smooth processing of their enrollment.
The new system is a huge adjustment for the students for this school year since everyone is used to using Ledgea [SERP]. Even if some students are encountering glitches with the system, they were assured that everyone will later benefit from the ease of operating this new enrollment system as they fully understand its features and purposes.
